Christmas Events
December 1 – Advent Begins
During the Advent season, Christians worldwide prepare to celebrate the coming of God into our world through the birth of his Son, Jesus Christ. Family Advents Kits can be picked up at the front of the Sanctuary beginning November 24.
December 1-8 – 2024 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and Week of Prayer
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and Week of Prayer in support of International Missions.
December 4 – Students: MDWK Christmas Party (6-8pm)
Students in grades 7-12, wear your ugliest sweater, bring a silly gift to exchange (under $15), and come for a night of fun and fellowship. Top ugly sweaters get a fun gift! Invite your friends to the festivities!
December 6 – Christmas in COHO (Shifts are available to serve from 3-9pm.)
Each year FBC has a booth where we serve hot chocolate to warm people up from the inside out! We will be serving at Gene L. Voyles Park in Hudson Oaks. Please register on the Church Center App or on our website: fbcwtx.org/events.
December 8 – Christmas Music (9 & 10:30am)
Join us for our Christmas choir program in both morning services. Our choir is excited to share this beautiful music with you!
December 11 – A Night in Bethlehem (6-7:30pm)
A Night in Bethlehem is a unique, immersive experience for preschoolers, children, and their families that will help them see what it was like to be in the town of Bethlehem when Jesus was born!
December 12 – Josh Wilson Presents Noel, An Acoustic Christmas Experience (7pm)
Josh Wilson will be live and in concert at FBC Weatherford! You won’t want to miss this great opportunity to hear some beautiful Christmas music!

December 13 – Ladies’ Ornament Exchange (6-8pm)
All ladies are invited to join in as we gather for dinner and an ornament exchange (please bring a wrapped ornament $10 or less)! Please register on the Church Center App or on our website: fbcwtx.org/events.
December 14 – COH Christmas Basket Giveaway (10am-2pm)
Center of Hope is hosting a drive thru event to give out Christmas Baskets. FBC will have a booth and we are looking for some awesome people to help us bring joy to all who come! We are asking people to serve 2 hour shifts (10am-12pm, 12-2pm). IMPORTANT NOTE: *All volunteers must be in high school or older.* Please register on the Church Center App or on our website: fbcwtx.org/events.
December 15 – Singles Over Sixty Banquet (12-2pm)
This annual event is held by the FBC Deacon Ministry to honor all of our “single over sixty” adults. Watch for your invitation and RSVP to the Church Office at 817-594-5457.
December 22 – Happy Birthday Jesus Party (9 & 10:30am)
Our preschool, kids, and preteens will have a birthday party for Jesus during their Sunday morning connect times.
December 24 – Christmas Eve Candlelight Service (4 & 5:30pm)
Families are invited to join us for a very special time of worship for all ages as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. We will have flameless “candles” (glow sticks) available for the kids.

Christmas Eve Services
We are excited for our upcoming Christmas Eve services here at FBC Weatherford! We have two identical services on December 24th at 4:00pm and 5:30pm. These are family-friendly services, so bring everyone and join in on an incredible time together as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ! We will sing Christmas carols and hymns together, read the story of Jesus' birth, and light the candles as we wrap-up our services.
We will have multiple options for family pictures not only by our beautiful Christmas tree in the Sanctuary, but also in our gym. There will be different photo booths setup throughout the gym, as well as drinks and cookies while you wait!
